As we have watched the volatile stock market over the past 18-24 months, many people have watched their retirement plans diminish in value - some as much as 50%.

Their are alternatives to this situation and one of the best is Real Estate. Historically, Real Estate only knows one trend and that is an increase in value. This is especially true in coastal areas such as Wilmington NC Real Estate.

"Don't wait to buy Real Estate, buy Real Estate and wait". There is a lot of truth in that.

"Buy land, they're not making it anymore" - Mark Twain in the late 1800's - that statement was true then and is even more relevant today.

If you are looking for ways to diversify your retirement plan, whether it is an IRA, 401K or other plan, purchasing and owning real property inside your plan makes a lot of sense.

This has been allowed since IRA's were incepted in 1974, yet very few people know much about it. The process is very simple, but you should have professional guidance.

One of the new buzzwords we are hearing from some of the big Securities houses is something called a Self-Directed IRA. While these companies do offer Self-Directed accounts, they are still inside the securities world - stocks, bonds, mutual funds, etc.

A truly diversified Self-Directed IRA is held by a different custodian and allows for true diversification - everything from Real Estate to Livestock to Commercial Paper and much more. North Carolina Real Estate in general and the land for sale in north carolina offer great opportunities.

There are several top firms in the United States that specialize in these types of accounts. I can help you learn more about this. Call me, Charles C. Poindexter, II 910-620-4672 and I will answer your questions.
